In case of an emergency, contact us immediately at al +34 913 875 000
The Ruber International Hospital provides a 24-hour Emergency Service for pediatric, gynecological/obstetric, and adult emergencies, ensuring the highest standard of medical care. Our highly qualified multidisciplinary team offers a rapid and effective response to any emergency.
A Specialized and Multidisciplinary Medical Team
Our Emergency Service is managed by the same team of Intensive Care and Coronary Unit specialists who oversee the hospital's ICU. The team includes a Head of Service and 10 expert physicians specializing in critical and non-critical emergency care.
Thanks to this specialized training, we guarantee efficient and safe medical care, handling both severe cases and minor emergencies that can either be resolved within the Emergency Service or referred to the appropriate specialty.
Fast and Efficient Care
Our operational model is designed to minimize wait times and ensure the best possible medical attention:
- Immediate reception and triage: Patients are evaluated by the nursing staff.
- Medical assessment and treatment: A specialist physician attends to the patient and provides the necessary treatment.
- Coordination with other specialties: If specialized care is needed, we contact the on-call medical team.
- Hospitalization or discharge: If required, the patient is admitted to the appropriate unit or discharged with medical instructions.
This protocol is followed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with additional reinforcements on weekends and during high-demand periods.

Because Every Second Counts, We Are Here for You 24/7
Our 24-hour Emergency Service is designed to provide immediate, efficient, and personalized care. We have a highly qualified team that works in close coordination with the ICU and other specialties to ensure the best medical assistance without compromising quality.
