Hematology and Hemotherapy
Your Well-Being, Our Mission
Welcome to the Hematology and Hemotherapy Department of Hospital Ruber Internacional!
Our department comprises a team of experts dedicated to diagnosing and treating blood-related pathologies. Our goal is to provide comprehensive and personalized care in managing conditions such as anemia, coagulation disorders, low platelet count, and diseases of white blood cells, including leukemia and lymphoma.
We offer specialized consultations for the monitoring and management of patients requiring oral anticoagulant treatment, such as Sintrom. Additionally, we have an in-house blood bank that allows us to perform transfusions of red blood cells, platelets, and plasma. This is particularly relevant for patients requiring transfusions after surgery or due to their own anemia. In our department, we ensure the preparation of necessary transfusions for both surgical interventions and hospitalized patients and collaborate with the Transfusion Service of the Community of Madrid to ensure an adequate supply of blood products.
Moreover, our blood bank carries out rigorous control, processing, and rational use of blood components.
We are committed to providing high-quality medical care and a comprehensive approach to managing hematological diseases. We strive to ensure your well-being and safety at every stage of treatment.
If you have any questions or wish to schedule an appointment, our team is at your disposal. Explore our website to learn more about our services and medical team.
